Wyndham Halcyon Retreat’s luxury hotel, Château de la Cazine, has achieved a 4 TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award across 4 successive years, based on guest reviews on the world’s largest travel site.

The award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor®. Winners of the certificate include hotels, restaurants and attractions located globally that have continually delivered a superior customer experience.

Château de la Cazine has won the award for every operational year since it was opened back in 2012. To qualify for the award, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor® bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor® for at least 12 months.

REOPENING OF THE ESTABLISHMENT

 It is with pleasure that we reopen our establishment on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in the evening and we look forward to seeing you again.

 From February 1 to May 31 and from September 1 to November 30, 2022 the hotel and restaurant will be open 5 days a week (from Tuesday noon to Sunday noon). Then from June 1 to August 31, 2022 we will operate 7 days a week.

 On weekdays at lunch you will again appreciate our daily menu formula at the price of 16€ including starter, main course, dessert and free coffee served from Tuesday to Friday. Then for lunch and dinner you can also enjoy our 3-course Cazine Formula at the price of €38.50 or our 4-course Epicure Formula at the price of €52.50.

 Valentine's Day is fast approaching, for the occasion we have concocted a special menu for a romantic evening, to extend this romantic moment you can also book our package with a night at the Château.

 THE DIRECTION

Native of Chambon-sur-Lignon in Haute-Loire, Pierre Guilhot began his apprenticeship at Mister Riouffred to Yssingeaux, then exercised his business in Haute-Loire and in the regions of Lyon and Saint-Etienne.

After a reconversion in the communication for a few years, Pierre Guilhot discovered the region Limousin where he eventually settled down, and took back his chief activity in various restaurants of Haute-Vienne and the Creuse.

His cooking is very diversified and simple, he loves the classics whom we can revisit and the products of the region to be emphasized. The menu which he suggests you discovering to the restaurant of the Castle of Cazine is influenced by the cooking of Auvergne and Limousin, and decorated with diverse flavors and spice.

The Château and its restaurant is opened 5 days a week for lunch and for dinner from the 1st of February until the 31st of May and from September the 1st to November the 30th 2022. During the high season the restaurant will be opened 7 days a week.

You will find the « Menu du Marché » served for Lunch from Monday to Friday, at the rate of 16 Euros.

The Menu Cazine with three dishes will be 38,50 Euros.

Finally, the Menu "Epicure" has four dishes and is 52,50 Euros.
